Senior Lab Coordinator and Research Officer Activity rate 80% to 90% For a permanent contract

The senior-lab is an interdisciplinary platform for applied research and innovation dedicated to the quality of life of seniors. Founded in 2018 by the Institute and Haute Ecole de la Santé La Source, Haute Ecole d’Ingénierie et de Gestion du Canton de Vaud (HEIG-VD) and the Lausanne School of Art (ECAL), through its participatory and co-creation approach, the senior-lab supports the co-development of solutions better adapted to the needs and expectations of seniors.

La Source is recruiting for the senior-lab, a position of:

Your mission:

• Coordinate and support the work of the Steering Group: organising meetings, drafting minutes, preparing annual and financial reports, etc.
• Manage and animate the senior-lab community and network (seniors and professionals) and supervise the participation of its members in R&D projects;
• Manage the senior-lab R&D project portfolio; ensure monitoring and prospecting;
• Co-organise events for the senior-lab community and network;
• Facilitate workshops using participatory and design thinking methods;
• (Co-)conduct R&D projects: drafting offers/requests, data collection and analysis, budget and schedule monitoring, reporting, oral and written dissemination;
• Provide scientific support for the co-responsible Professor for La Source;
• Contribute to the communication of the senior-lab and the promotion of projects.

You hold a degree in nursing, social sciences, psychology, or have an equivalent qualification (Master’s level). You have at least 5 years of experience in research and project management. You master qualitative and participatory research methods and have good synthesis skills. You are comfortable in contexts requiring autonomy, communication, adaptability, flexibility, co-construction and proactivity. You have a good knowledge of English and German. Italian is an asset.

Hosted in a pleasant working environment, located in the heart of Lausanne, the senior-lab office is at the Haute Ecole de la Santé La Source in Beaulieu. You will work in a small team, in collaboration with the senior-lab communication manager and in direct contact with the Steering Group and the co-responsible Professor for La Source.

Start date: 1 January 2027 or date to be agreed.
