Mobile IT Technician – Swiss Border Region (M/F)

About the job

We are looking for an experienced senior field technician, capable of working completely independently at our clients' sites for maintenance, deployment, and support services. You will work on varied technical environments combining IT, networking, and low current systems, playing a key role in service continuity.

Reporting to the Technical Director, you will operate in a multi-site environment (retail / industry) with a high degree of autonomy in organising your interventions.

Main tasks

Technical interventions - Installation, commissioning, and verification of equipment - Diagnosis, troubleshooting, and replacement of workstations - Recovery and securing of user data - Work on IT and low current infrastructures (cabling, connectors, audio equipment)

Support & Maintenance

On-site interventions and remote assistance (phone), Diagnosis and resolution of incidents (Level 1), Application of deployment and operational procedures

Networks & Systems

Diagnosis of IP and Wi-Fi networks - Work on AD, DNS, DHCP, file sharing, Analysis and resolution of IT malfunctions

Client relations

Training and support for users, Advice on equipment use, Ensuring a good level of service quality

Management & Follow-up

Management of spare parts stock, Writing technical reports after each intervention, Rigorous monitoring and reporting of information

Profile sought

- Proven field experience, minimum 10 years

– senior profile expected

- Used to managing complex situations alone in a client environment

- Mastery of network environments (IP, Wi-Fi, AD, DNS, DHCP)

- Knowledge of low current and/or sound systems appreciated

- Knowledge of Raspberry Pi and/or Python scripting appreciated

- Comfortable with multi-platform IT (PC, mobile, business tools)

- Reliability, rigour, good client relations
