IT System Engineer Infrastructure & Applications (m/f/d)

Role:
In this role, you actively shape modern IT system landscapes and contribute to reliably providing innovative software solutions for demanding pension professionals. You are responsible for the stable, secure, and high-performance operation of the underlying system environments and ensure that the management software can be used professionally at all times. You take on the technical support, monitoring, and optimisation of the systems and ensure that interfaces and services work smoothly together. You also analyse and resolve faults, plan maintenance work, and accompany changes throughout the entire lifecycle. Through your structured approach and experience in IT system engineering, you contribute decisively to the high quality and reliability of solutions in the pension environment.
Responsibilities:
You manage the operation of the software and continuously develop infrastructure solutions as well as technical optimisations
Changes for customers, partners, and suppliers are planned, coordinated, and successfully implemented by you
IT projects are actively supported by you, ensuring a stable and smooth operation of the IT infrastructure
You analyse and resolve complex IT faults across systems together with various partners
Monitoring, documentation, and continuous optimisation of our operational processes are within your area of responsibility
Qualifications:
Completed computer science degree or an equivalent qualification at HF/FH level with several years of experience in system engineering
Sound knowledge of Windows, Linux, WebLogic, Oracle, PostgreSQL, and firewalls
Experience with cloud technologies, Kubernetes, and Docker complements your technical profile
Fluent written and spoken German, good English skills
