Responsibilities:
- You actively participate in projects for the development of products and technologies for dry feedthroughs
- You develop, improve and optimise solutions for dry feedthroughs
- You design 3D models and 2D drawings of the products under development
- You contribute suggestions and solutions to optimise components and designs, focusing on cost efficiency and quality improvement
- You consider the manufacturability of components in collaboration with suppliers by conducting both Design for Manufacture and Design for Assembly analyses
- You analyse problems and provide technical support
- You create and maintain bills of materials (BOM) and material master data in SAP
Qualifications:
- You have a degree in mechanical design or e.g. a certified constructor (EFZ)
- You have solid experience in mechanical design, ideally in the field of high-voltage components
- You bring 3-5 years of experience and are familiar with 3D modelling tools such as CREO and PDM
- You have experience in manufacturing as well as with various production methods, materials and standards (ISO, DIN, IEC)
- Experience in mechanical FEM simulation (e.g. Ansys) is an advantage
- Experience with cost analyses and value-oriented design engineering is a plus
- You speak fluent English and German
- You are a reliable and independent personality with a high degree of initiative
