Attached to the Vaud Judicial Order, the ten debt collection offices in the canton are responsible for the debt collection procedure, from the notification of the payment order to the collection of the debt or the issuance of the certificate of insolvency. They also maintain various registers and issue extracts from them.

To complete the existing team, the Debt Collection Office of the Lavaux-Oron district, which employs nearly 15 employees, is looking for a debt collection office employee.

• Manage simple files, from the submission of the debt collection request to closure.
• Carry out tasks related to the entire forced execution procedure.
• Collaborate in the administrative management of a sector (accounting - register extracts - notification of debt collection acts - oppositions).
• Respond to information requests in assigned areas, at the counter and by phone.
• Welcome users at the counter, guide them and inform them about the forced execution procedure.

• Commercial employee CFC completed in a debt collection or bankruptcy office, or in another field, ideally complemented by 2 years of professional experience in debt collection and litigation
• Organisational skills, flexibility, speed and accuracy
• Good stress resistance and ability to communicate in a difficult context

• Mastery of spelling, ease with common IT tools and numbers.

  
  

Many professional development and continuing education opportunities exist within the Debt Collection and Bankruptcy Offices.

As part of the recruitment process, candidates will be required to present an extract from the debt collection register and a criminal record less than 3 months old.

A lower salary level engagement is possible if the duration of experience in the debt collection or bankruptcy field is insufficient at the time of hiring.
