Role:
Do you want to technically advance complex IT platforms and enable stable system operation through intelligent automation? In this position, you combine Linux system administration, container technologies and modern operational processes. You work closely with technical specialists, improve the reliability of central services and support the continuous modernisation of the infrastructure.
Responsibilities:
Ensuring a powerful and secure operation of Linux systems as well as ongoing optimisation of the underlying infrastructure.
Management and expansion of Kubernetes environments for the deployment and reliable operation of containerised applications.
Development of automated deployment and management processes with configuration management, orchestration and CI/CD.
Implementation and maintenance of monitoring, logging and alerting systems for early detection of performance issues and failures.
Technical analysis and resolution of complex errors in 2nd-level support as well as participation in the further development of operational standards and complementary technologies such as backup, storage and virtualisation.
Qualifications:
Higher education in computer science or a comparable qualification or solid professional experience in system engineering and infrastructure.
In-depth knowledge in the support and optimisation of Linux-based production environments.
Practical experience with Kubernetes, containerisation and automated deployment processes.
Knowledge in scripting, automation, configuration management and system monitoring as well as a good understanding of infrastructure security.
Responsible and solution-oriented personality with high team and service orientation, independent working style and enjoyment of agile collaboration and technical knowledge exchange.
