Draftsperson Specialising in Architecture (m/f/d)

Role:

On behalf of a client, we are seeking a qualified professional for architectural planning, execution planning, and constructive detail development in a versatile Swiss architectural and planning environment. You will work on demanding new build, conversion, and extension projects in the fields of hospitality, gastronomy, residential construction, and larger building projects. The focus is on 2D and 3D CAD planning, development of technically demanding detailed solutions, quality assurance of planning documents, and coordination with specialist planners and clients. The position combines precise building construction and digital architectural planning with the opportunity to gradually take responsibility for your own sub-projects.

Responsibilities:

• Independent creation and processing of architectural plans across the relevant SIA project phases from design to realisation

• Preparation of construction project, approval, working, and execution plans for residential buildings, gastronomy and hotel projects, as well as larger building projects

• Development and graphic implementation of constructive detailed solutions considering materials, building physics, and technical feasibility

• Creation and maintenance of 2D drawings and 3D building models using Archicad, Vectorworks, or comparable CAD systems

• Preparation of detail, connection, and construction plans for building envelopes, interior fittings, and technical interfaces

• Coordination and integration of specialist planner documents from structural engineering, building services, and other disciplines

• Participation in the development of architectural concepts and design solutions considering project-specific quality requirements

• Preparation and coordination of building permit documents and processing of technical plan adjustments within approval procedures

• Quality assurance and review of planning documents regarding dimensional accuracy, completeness, compliance with standards, and feasibility

• Coordination with architects, project managers, specialist planners, authorities, and clients to clarify planning and constructive issues

• Support in tenders and technical project management including plan attachments, component descriptions, and execution clarifications

• Assumption of sub-project responsibility as well as preparation of plan revisions and documentation during construction

Qualifications:

• Completed vocational training as a Draftsperson EFZ specialising in Architecture or further training as a Technician HF in Construction Planning

• Professional experience in architectural design and execution planning of new build, conversion, or extension projects in Swiss building construction

• Sound knowledge of building construction, detail planning, and materialisation, especially for technically demanding connections and execution details

• Very good knowledge of 2D and 3D CAD planning, preferably with Archicad and/or Vectorworks

• Knowledge of Swiss SIA standards, building regulations, and planning processes as well as experience in coordinating specialist planner documents

• Further training or practical experience in digital construction and BIM methodology is an advantage

• Good German language skills in spoken and written form for planning documents, technical documentation, and specialist coordination
