Senior Network & IT Infrastructure Engineer (m/f/d)

Role:
Do you want to operate demanding IT landscapes stably, further develop security standards, and connect modern infrastructure technologies? In this position, you will shape the reliable operation of distributed corporate networks and contribute your expertise to the further development of datacentre, security, and cloud architectures. You will work on technical solutions that enable globally available and secure business processes.
Responsibilities:
Ensuring stable operation as well as further development and performance optimisation of cross-site network architectures.
Configuration, maintenance, and securing of network and security components as well as analysis of complex infrastructure issues.
Support and modernisation of datacentre systems and hybrid cloud platforms with Microsoft Azure and Microsoft 365.
Development of technical concepts, maintenance of system documentation, and definition of sustainable operational standards.
Technical support in 1st and 2nd level support, implementation of infrastructure projects, and participation in on-call and maintenance duties.
Qualifications:
Completed training in computer science or an equivalent technical qualification.
Several years of experience in the administration and further development of complex network and infrastructure environments, preferably in an internationally active company.
In-depth knowledge of network technology, IT security, and datacentre infrastructures.
Practical experience in planning and implementing technical IT projects as well as collaborating with various departments.
Independent, analytical, and structured working style, strong communication and teamwork skills, very good German and English skills, and willingness to participate in on-call duties, occasional weekend work, and international business trips.
