Information Security Engineer (m/f/d)

You want to not only design information security but also implement it technically? In this role, you combine operational IT security with architecture, cloud, and DevSecOps. At the same time, you support the CISO professionally and deputise for them when needed.
Responsibilities:
Technical implementation and further development of security measures within IT
Link between CISO, system engineering, and agile continuous delivery teams
Deputising for the CISO in defined security topics and committees
Advising development teams on security controls, shift left, and ISDS concepts
Conducting and automating security assessments and risk analyses
Evaluating cloud, platform, infrastructure, and application architectures
Contributing to security incidents and the further development of cyber resilience
Qualifications:
Several years of experience in IT or cybersecurity, ideally with a technical focus
Very good knowledge of Microsoft Azure and cloud security
Experience with DevSecOps, secure development, CI/CD security, and security by design
Knowledge of NIST, CSF, ISO/IEC 27001, and data protection is an advantage
Further training or certifications such as CISSP, CCSP, or CISM are advantageous
Interest in AI security, for example OWASP Top 10 for LLMs/GenAI
Strong communication skills and enjoyment of interdisciplinary collaboration
Very good German skills as well as confident English skills
