Responsibilities:
- Conceptualisation, development, and optimisation of mechatronic components and assemblies
- Conducting feasibility studies and technical evaluations
- Preparation of technical specifications and requirement definitions
- Design and construction of prototypes as well as execution of test and validation procedures
- Collaboration with interdisciplinary teams, including electrical engineering, mechanics, and software development
- Support in the selection and evaluation of suppliers and technology partners
- Monitoring and coordination of the development process from the concept phase to series production readiness
- Documentation of development steps and results
Qualifications:
- Completed degree in engineering sciences, preferably with a focus on mechatronics or equivalent qualification
- Several years of professional experience in the development of mechatronic components and assemblies
- Sound knowledge in concept creation, design, and validation of components and assemblies
- Good knowledge of CAD software, e.g. SolidWorks, AutoCAD or similar tools
- Experience in applying standards and norms in the field of mechatronics
- Confident use of common development tools and methods
- Analytical and structured working style as well as problem-solving skills
- Teamwork skills, communication strength, and high self-motivation
