Responsibilities:
- Responsibility for the operation, maintenance and expansion of network structures (including WAN, VLAN, VPNs, proxy servers and DNS servers)
- Consulting and support of various locations with network and connection-related challenges
- Technical management and support of connection and security solutions such as firewalls, proxy servers and cloud-based security solutions
- Participation in the planning, design, innovation and implementation of secure and highly available network solutions
- Analysis and troubleshooting of network disruptions and errors
- Support of the team in the further development of the cloud infrastructure
Qualifications:
- Completed training or further education with a focus on computer science
- Several years of experience in IT infrastructure or IT network area
- Experience with Cisco products and cloud environments, especially Azure, is advantageous
- Solution-oriented thinking and acting
- Communication skills and team player qualities
- Very good German and good English skills spoken and written
