Role:
You combine technical know-how with a solution-oriented approach and want to accompany versatile infrastructure projects from planning to implementation? In this role, you develop modern IT solutions for demanding operational environments. You combine proven infrastructure technologies with new approaches, optimise existing systems and deploy automation and innovative applications where they create real added value.
Responsibilities:
You plan and implement individual infrastructure concepts for server, client and virtualisation environments including storage and central system services.
You implement and maintain network and security solutions, including firewalls, WLAN, VPN, endpoint protection as well as backup and recovery systems.
You integrate Microsoft cloud services, especially Microsoft 365 and Entra ID, and ensure coordinated interaction with existing local systems.
You operate monitoring and remote maintenance solutions, analyse complex faults and further develop communication infrastructures with VoIP, SIP and Microsoft Teams telephony.
You carry out migrations and technical integrations, develop automation solutions and evaluate new technologies – including AI – in terms of security, practicality and benefit.
Qualifications:
You have completed training in computer science or ICT system technology or have an equivalent qualification with corresponding practical experience.
You have already planned, implemented or supported IT infrastructures in the business customer environment and have a broad understanding of their technical interrelationships.
You possess knowledge in several relevant technologies, for example Windows Server, Active Directory, RDS, VMware, Hyper-V, HCI, network technology, firewalling or Microsoft 365.
Ideally, you are familiar with solutions such as Barracuda RMM, SentinelOne, Scale Computing, Veeam, Mount10, 3CX or hosted SBC environments. Experience with Conditional Access, Linux, SQL Server and PowerShell is also welcome.
You work analytically, reliably and independently, quickly familiarise yourself with new technical topics and can translate requirements into practical solutions. Experience in technical project management is an advantage.
