For an established and innovative IT company with a diverse client portfolio, we are seeking a committed individual as System Engineer / Deputy Department Head.
In this role, you combine solid technical expertise with leadership skills, customer orientation, and a willingness to take responsibility. You will work on demanding IT solutions for clients from various industries and have the opportunity to develop both professionally and personally.
- Administration and further development of Microsoft 365 and Azure environments
- Support and maintenance of virtual servers, networks, and telephony solutions
- Configuration and management of Cisco Meraki infrastructures
- Assisting the IT team with demanding 2nd and 3rd level support cases
- Analysing complex faults as well as sustainable troubleshooting and technical consulting
- Active participation in IT projects from requirements analysis and conception to technical implementation
- Development and implementation of contemporary IT security solutions, especially with Microsoft Defender, Intune, and Entra ID Conditional Access
- Design, build, and maintenance of Microsoft SharePoint data structures
- Development and implementation of backup, restore, and recovery strategies
- Creation and maintenance of clear technical documentation
- Supporting the department management and taking on responsibility within the Technology Services team
- Solid practical experience in IT infrastructure and system engineering
- Very good knowledge of Microsoft 365 and Azure
- Experience with virtual server environments and modern network infrastructures
- Good knowledge in IT security
- Experience with Microsoft Defender, Intune, and Entra ID
- Ideally, knowledge of Cisco Meraki environments
- Experience in software packaging and client management
- A strong understanding of backup, recovery, and data management
- Analytical and solution-oriented thinking as well as a structured working method
- Enjoyment of customer contact, consulting, and technically demanding tasks
- A high level of service and quality orientation
- Team spirit, initiative, and willingness to take responsibility
- Very good German and English skills, both spoken and written
- A category B driving licence is an advantage

Profile
- Completed IT training EFZ- Solid practical experience in IT infrastructure and system engineering
- Very good knowledge of Microsoft 365 and Azure
