Network & Security Engineer (m/f/d)

Role:
As a Network & Security Engineer, you manage a nationally and internationally distributed network infrastructure. You contribute your own ideas and continuously develop the environment. Firewalls, switches, routers and the entire WLAN infrastructure are in your hands. You independently lead exciting projects and work closely with the IT infrastructure and IT security teams.
Responsibilities:
You maintain the network environment and drive its further development
You commission new firewalls, switches and routers and replace devices according to lifecycle planning
Furthermore, you bear the main responsibility for telephony, encryption solutions and WLAN
You create your own concepts and implement them together with the specialist teams
Additionally, you provide 2nd and 3rd level support and ensure compliance with IT standards
You also obtain quotes from external service providers and occasionally take on on-call duties
Qualifications:
You have completed an IT education at HF or FH level
You bring several years of experience as a network engineer or system engineer
New technologies interest you and on-the-job training is a matter of course for you
Quality, availability and sustainability are very important to you
Furthermore, you convince with a structured, customer-oriented and independent working style
You also communicate confidently in German and are proficient in spoken and written English
