About the role

Your mission will be to design and ensure the reliability of cloud data pipelines essential for the daily decisions of energy traders. An ideal opportunity for recent graduates (Master's / Engineer) wishing to quickly develop skills in cutting-edge cloud technologies.

Tasks

This position involves developing, automating, and orchestrating robust data flows on AWS, while ensuring their quality to support our client’s energy trading decisions.

• Design, build, and maintain data ingestion pipelines on AWS.
• Develop and optimise processing flows for integrating heterogeneous data.
• Ensure proper orchestration of data flows and continuous integration of code.
• Implement control and automatic alert mechanisms to detect ingestion failures or anomalies.
• Apply best security practices and document data traceability.
• Create and manage reusable scripts, libraries, and automated data services.
• Collaborate with IT/DevOps teams to integrate flows into the existing technical ecosystem.

We are looking for

• A higher education degree (Master HES / EPFL or equivalent) in Data Engineering, Computer Science or Information Systems.
• Good command of SQL and Python.
• Experience with the AWS cloud environment (S3, Glue, Lambda, Redshift).
• Good level of English.
• Fluent French.

An advantage if you have

• Knowledge of orchestration & DevOps principles (Airflow, CI/CD, Docker).
