About the job
The emergency practice is part of the interdisciplinary emergency centre of the Baden Cantonal Hospital. Over 25,000 patients with minor illnesses and injuries visit the emergency practice annually. As an MPA, you support our doctors of the emergency team as well as general practitioners from the Baden and Brugg districts in caring for these patients.

MPA Emergency Practice 50%
Your tasks
- You welcome patients and coordinate appointments for follow-ups and referrals.
- You perform blood draws and ECGs, carry out laboratory work in the practice’s own laboratory, and administer medications, infusions, and vaccinations.
- You apply plaster casts and splints as well as wound dressings professionally.
- You prepare patients for treatments and assist doctors with minor surgical procedures.
- You supervise trainees and actively shape work processes.
- You also take on various administrative tasks.
Your profile
- You have completed training as a medical practice assistant and bring several years of professional experience.
- You have already completed or plan to complete the trainer qualification.
- You ideally have experience in haematological laboratory work.
- You are an empathetic, team-capable, and flexible personality.
- You are willing to work early, late, and weekend shifts.
- You have very good German language skills.
- You are proficient in using MS Office.
