This is what you can achieve.
- Your main task is the independent execution of maintenance, renewal and fault repair work on all cable systems.
- You report the work performed and record working hours as well as expenses.
- In this role, you splice copper and fibre optic cables, lay cables and carry out the necessary assembly work.
- Occasionally, you supervise compliance with safety measures as a safety officer according to the safety plan.
- For work preparation on the work or construction site, you place material orders and coordinate their deliveries.

- Your high sense of responsibility and safety awareness enable you to familiarise yourself well and thoroughly with your new role in the SBB environment. You look forward to working mainly outdoors in all seasons.
- Due to our safety regulations, it is important that you have good health with unrestricted hearing and vision.
- You have a vocational qualification (EFZ) in a craft profession, preferably in the electrical sector (e.g. electrical installer, electrician).
- Willingness to train as a safety officer.
- A category B driving licence completes your profile.
