Project Manager Design (m/f/d)
Salary - CHF100,000 - 105,000Role:
On behalf of a client, we are looking for a design-strong specialist for the development and management of demanding architectural projects with a focus on design, project development and architectural competitions. You will take responsibility for independent architectural concepts, feasibility studies and competition projects and accompany complex construction projects through the early planning phases. The focus is on architectural quality, innovative design, sustainable construction concepts and digital planning with Archicad. The position offers diverse design opportunities and independent project responsibility in a modern architectural environment.
Responsibilities:
Independent management and processing of architectural projects with a focus on design, competitions and project development
Development of innovative architectural concepts for demanding building projects considering design, functional and economic requirements
Conceptualisation and elaboration of architectural competitions, study commissions and project studies including design and presentation
Preparation of feasibility studies, volume studies and variant analyses to assess architectural and building law possibilities
Planning of preliminary and construction projects according to the relevant SIA phases
CAD-supported design planning with Archicad including 3D modelling, visualisation and digital project development
Development of design concepts, floor plan solutions, façade studies and materialisation concepts
Coordination and professional leadership of internal project teams as well as coordination with specialist planners and external experts
Preparation and execution of design presentations as well as presentation of architectural concepts to clients and decision-making bodies
Integration of sustainable construction methods, energy-efficient solutions and contemporary construction principles into design development
Ensuring architectural quality as well as adherence to deadlines and planning specifications during project processing
Qualifications:
Completed architecture studies at ETH/FH or comparable recognised qualification
At least 3 years of professional experience in Switzerland with a focus on architectural design, planning and competition processing
Solid experience in developing independent architectural concepts as well as handling complex building projects
Very good Archicad skills as well as experience in 3D modelling, digital design planning and visualisation
Knowledge of Swiss SIA standards, building regulations and planning processes
Expertise in building construction, materialisation and sustainable architecture
Good German skills for project documentation, presentations and planning coordination
