Building a modern geriatrics service together

In our geriatrics clinic, medical expertise is combined with holistic, person-centred care. At the same time, we place great importance on an open and caring work culture, characterised by agile decision-making and genuine horizontal collaboration.

Our clinic includes an acute geriatrics ward, a memory clinic, and mobile geriatrics in nursing homes. Our multidisciplinary and bilingual team is led by two geriatricians in a modern co-leadership model. Various professionals from nursing, therapies, speech therapy, dietetics, social services, the medical body, and administration collaborate – in a spirit of teamwork and mutual respect.

For our acute geriatrics ward, we are looking, for January 2027 or by agreement, for a committed, organised, and empathetic personality as:

Your tasks – our position

You are at the centre of the organisation of our acute geriatrics team and ensure its smooth operation.

• Administrative support for chief physicians as well as ward doctors
• Organisation and coordination of the daily service routine
• Planning of therapies, examinations, and consultations
• Conducting geriatric assessments of elderly patients
• Preparation and proofreading of medical reports (French and German)
• Preparation and coordination of weekly interdisciplinary meetings

Your skills – our expectations

• Training as a medical assistant or community health and care assistant, with additional training as a medical secretary
• Native French speaker (or equivalent) with very good knowledge of German
• Enjoyment in contact with elderly people
• Organisational skills and initiative
• Mastery of medical terminology and computer systems
• Team spirit and desire to actively contribute to the development of our acute geriatrics service
