3D Control Technician (M/F)
Mission
Within this role, attached to the Quality department of our Flückiger Dial site in St-Imier, you will implement 3D control measures by defining the procedures and programming the control equipment. You will be responsible for the dimensional conformity of the dials inspected. In parallel, you will contribute to the maintenance of the measuring instruments.
Responsibilities
- Create automatic 3D control programmes by contact and optical methods to ensure product conformity: industrialisation, series production and measurement for product/process analysis.
- Define and validate control procedures in collaboration with project teams.
- Supervise, support and train 3D users in the production workshops.
- Participate in the continuous improvement of measurement methods: design of tooling, monitoring and maintenance of measuring machines, definition of measurement strategies.
- Utilise and interpret control results (histograms, basic statistics).
Profile sought
- Diploma as an ES Technician in Microtechnology or equivalent training.
- Minimum 5 years’ experience in 3D programming and measurement, both contact and non-contact, ideally in the watchmaking sector for dials.
- Proficiency in 3D programming software, ideally knowledge of OGP, FoxFlash, and Mesure X.
- Excellent skills in reading plans, especially GPS dimensioning.
- Strong knowledge of MS Office, particularly Excel.
- Good knowledge of quality tools and production monitoring statistics.
- Very good spatial visualisation of parts.
- Essential programming logic (Algorithm).
- Ability to adapt to technical and industrial developments.
