Physioswiss, the Swiss Physiotherapy Association, is one of the largest professional associations in the healthcare sector. It brings together over 12,000 members across 16 cantonal and regional associations and thus advocates for an entire profession essential to the health of the Swiss population.
Are you an experienced communications manager looking to take charge of Physioswiss's communications? We are looking for someone like you for our headquarters in Bern starting 1 January 2027.
Communications Manager, Member of the Executive Board

Your Area of Responsibility
In this senior role, you will lead the Communications Department and, as a member of the executive board, actively participate in the strategic development of Physioswiss. Your tasks will include:
- Developing and implementing Physioswiss's communications strategy, as well as leading the communications team
- Strategic development and management of social media
- Designing and implementing other effective communication measures (publications, website) as well as providing communications support for projects and events
- Maintaining media relations, serving as the primary contact for media enquiries, and managing crisis communications
- Selecting and managing agencies and external service providers, as well as collaborating with the public relations managers of cantonal and regional associations
- Monitoring relevant topics and trends in the health sector and the association world
Your Profile
- You hold a university degree (bachelor’s and/or master’s) and have several years of professional experience in corporate communications, including leadership experience
- You write content with impeccable style, tailored to the target audience and communication channel, even under time pressure
- You are proficient with digital media and tools and knowledgeable about social networks and other communication channels
- You demonstrate a strong sense of implementation and service, while maintaining an overview, and impress with your strategic and entrepreneurial thinking and actions
- You are capable of managing multiple tasks and projects simultaneously and advancing them with a focus on results
- German or French is your mother tongue; you have at least B2 proficiency in the other language
