Wafer Factory Maintenance Technician / Engineer (M/F)

To support the growth of our MEMS accelerometer production site, we are looking for a Maintenance Technician or Engineer to join our production teams in the cleanroom.

Within a dedicated team and under the organisational supervision of your manager, you ensure the maximum availability and reliability of high-tech production equipment (lithography, etching, deposition, implantation) as well as the distribution of various gases, DI water, and ventilation/air conditioning. You operate in strict compliance with safety standards, quality requirements, and protocols specific to the cleanroom environment.

Your main tasks will be as follows:

1. Team Organisation and Life (in connection with the Manager)

• Execution of the roadmap: Carry out maintenance interventions (preventive and corrective) according to the schedule and priorities defined by your team leader.
• Business continuity (Shift handover): Ensure a rigorous handover (oral and written) with the next team to guarantee the follow-up of ongoing faults.
• Reporting and Communication: Alert the manager in case of major technical blockage or schedule drift. Update the maintenance file daily to track indicators.
• Mutual support and Synergy: Actively collaborate with your colleagues on complex faults and participate in the integration/training of new team members.

2. Corrective and Preventive Maintenance

• Diagnosis and Troubleshooting: Identify and resolve complex faults (electronic, mechanical, vacuum systems, robotics, HVAC/air conditioning, DI water).
• Planned maintenance: Perform preventive maintenance operations and calibrations according to established procedures.
• OEM follow-up: Interface with equipment manufacturers’ technical support if necessary.

3. Continuous Improvement

• Fault analysis: Participate in root cause analyses conducted by the team to eliminate recurring faults.
• Procedures: Contribute to updating technical operating procedures.
• Project management: Lead the introduction of new equipment or the deployment of major upgrades validated by management.

Your profile

Education and Experience

• In Microelectronics, Robotics, Mechatronics, Industrial Maintenance, Electrical Engineering, Automatic Systems Design or equivalent, HVAC, ideally with initial experience in a semiconductor environment.

Technical skills

• Strong multidisciplinary skills: automation, electronics, precision mechanics, vacuum physics, HVAC.
• Ability to work under strict protocol (cleanroom).
• Proficiency with a CMMS tool and ease with production data.
• Operational technical English (reading documentation, communication with equipment manufacturers).
