Construction Manager (m/f/d)
Salary - CHF100,000 - 105,000Role:
On behalf of our client, we are looking for an experienced professional for the local construction management and realisation of demanding building projects. You will take operational responsibility on site and ensure compliance with costs, deadlines, quality and economic efficiency during execution. From cost estimation and awarding contracts to coordinating contractors and acceptance, you will accompany the projects with high technical and organisational responsibility. You will work closely with the architect, specialist planners, contractors and client.
Responsibilities:
Taking over the local construction management for demanding new build, conversion and renovation projects
Controlling and monitoring the construction execution regarding quality, costs and deadlines
Creating and continuously maintaining schedule and construction progress plans
Preparing cost estimates and specifications for tendering
Conducting tenders, bid comparisons and award preparations
Coordinating and leading the contractors and trades on site
Conducting and recording construction, contractor and coordination meetings
Responsibility for cost control, quantity verification, change management and invoice control
Ensuring professional execution according to plans, contracts and SIA standards
Ongoing coordination with architect, specialist planners and clients
Organising acceptances, defect management and handovers until project completion
Qualifications:
Training in building construction, ideally as a draughtsman EFZ architecture, certified construction manager or technician HF construction planning
Several years of professional experience in local construction management in Swiss building construction
Sound knowledge of cost estimation, tendering, cost control and scheduling
Good knowledge of relevant SIA standards, contracts and Swiss construction processes
Confident use of Messerli BAUAD or comparable construction administration software
Good general IT and Microsoft 365 skills
Very good German language skills spoken and written
