Lead Security Engineer (m/f/d)

In this exciting position, you will be responsible for the work as well as contribute:
- Planning, designing, implementing, and administering solutions in the IT/OT security area.
- Controlling, monitoring, maintaining, and optimising security systems.
- Developing and hardening mission-critical IT/OT/telecommunications systems.
- Evaluating existing security measures and systems as well as developing solution concepts.
- Optimising and automating cyber security relevant processes.
- Advising internal and external stakeholders on security issues.
- Designing, assessing, and reviewing secure solution architectures and infrastructures, reviewing and approving applications.
- Developing and validating specific security requirements, risks, and measures.
- Checking system security through penetration tests and technical assessments.
- Introducing new security tools – from conception, through architecture to implementation.
- Leading and participating in various projects as well as creating and maintaining technical documentation and concepts.
- Operating, controlling, and monitoring IT security systems (firewall, proxy, mail relay, IDS, IPS, etc.).
- Ongoing review and assessment of security risks as well as development and implementation of the IT security roadmap.
- Managing security incidents in collaboration with internal and external contacts (SOC).
- Participating in our 7/24 on-call organisation, BCM, crisis team.
- Defining and developing monitoring use cases.
- Analysing threat situations and incident response.
Qualifications:
- You have successfully completed your IT training and have further education or certification in IT security (e.g. CAS IS/MAS IS, CISSP, CISA).
- You have project experience in engineering system environments, very good knowledge of IT infrastructure (network, server, client, cloud).
- You have experience in IT security as an analyst and/or engineer and in operating cyber security.
- You are a team player with a solution-oriented hands-on mentality.
- You are communicative and have very good communication skills in German and English.
