In collaboration with our client, an industrial company in the Biel region, we are looking immediately or by arrangement for a Head of Accounting80–100%. The company combines long-standing industrial expertise with modern technologies and consistently develops its processes further. Your tasks with the new employer

• You prepare monthly and annual financial statements according to Swiss GAAP FER and ensure reliable financial reporting
• You manage the financial accounting focusing on general and subsidiary ledgers while keeping an eye on liquidity
• Intercompany reconciliations, consolidation topics as well as reporting and VAT returns expand your versatile range of tasks
• Together with internal specialist departments and the audit team, you optimise financial processes and actively drive digitalisation and system developments forward
• In this position, you lead the accounting team both in terms of personnel and expertise

You offer your new employer

• You have a commercial basic education as well as further training in finance and accounting, ideally at the specialist certificate level
• Several years of professional experience in finance and accounting as well as sound knowledge in financial statement preparation form an important basis for this role
• You communicate confidently in German and French and are ideally already familiar with SAP
• With your pragmatic hands-on mentality, an eye for the essentials and enthusiasm for change, you advance not only numbers but also processes
