For the further development of a modern Microsoft cloud landscape, a technically skilled person with experience in cloud engineering is sought. You will manage Azure-based infrastructure and platform services, support migration projects and contribute to the integration of new data and application solutions.
You ensure reliable and secure operation, automate recurring tasks and handle complex incidents during ongoing operations. In addition, you support the planning of recovery and continuity measures and work with engineering, architecture and specialist departments.
Responsibilities:
Ensuring the operation and further development of Azure infrastructure and platform services
Supporting cloud migrations, onboardings and the integration of Power Platform solutions
Developing and implementing cloud architectures within the existing ICT landscape
Automating operational processes and deployments using scripting and DevOps methods
Analysing and resolving complex incidents as well as participating in IT service management
Contributing to disaster recovery and business continuity measures as well as provider reviews
Qualifications:
Tertiary degree in computer science or an equivalent qualification
Several years of professional experience in cloud engineering and IT platform operations
Very good knowledge of Microsoft Azure and ideally experience with the Power Platform
Practical experience in monitoring, security, architecture design and ITSM
Experience with DevOps, scripting and automation, for example with Bicep
Very good German and English skills; Microsoft Azure certifications as well as knowledge of AWS or Google Cloud are a plus
