Role:

On behalf of a client, we are looking for an experienced professional as a Project Lead Architect for execution planning for an innovative company in the field of real estate development, residential construction, and turnkey projects (GU/TU). You will take on the technical project management and constructive development of demanding residential construction projects with a focus on execution, detail, and working plans. The focus is on developing economical construction solutions, coordinating specialist planners, quality assurance, and the planning support of construction execution. The position combines architectural design quality, solid execution competence, and digital planning with ArchiCAD for new builds, energy-efficient renovations, and modernisations.

Responsibilities:

• Independent management and coordination of architectural execution planning for demanding residential construction, conversion, and renovation projects

• Creation and further development of execution, detail, and working plans considering relevant SIA phases and project-specific requirements

• Technical and constructive development of construction projects focusing on economic feasibility, materialisation, and architectural quality

• Development and optimisation of constructive detail solutions for building envelopes, facades, roof structures, interior fittings, and technical connections

• Coordination and integration of specialist planning from structural engineering, building services, building physics, and other special disciplines

• Review and resolution of technical interfaces between architecture, specialist planning, contractor planning, and construction execution

• Digital plan processing and quality assurance with ArchiCAD including structured plan organisation, model coordination, and plan revisions

• Close collaboration with overall project management and site management to ensure coordinated, timely, and technically correct project execution

• Support in tenders and awards by preparing technical bases, reviewing contractor offers, and assessing execution variants

• Planning support during construction execution including clarification of technical issues, review of workshop plans, and coordination of constructive solutions on site

• Development of solutions for conversions and energy-efficient renovations considering existing building fabric, building physics requirements, and energy optimisation

• Ensuring architectural and technical quality while complying with relevant SIA standards, Swiss building regulations, and defined cost and schedule targets

Qualifications:

• Completed architecture studies at ETH or FH or equivalent recognised training in architecture

• Several years of professional experience in Swiss architectural practice with a proven focus on execution planning, detail planning, and realisation

• Solid knowledge of SIA phases 41-53, especially tendering, execution project, and support of construction implementation

• Very good knowledge of ArchiCAD and experience in digital creation and coordination of complex execution and working plans

• In-depth expertise in building construction, materialisation, building envelope, and constructive detail development

• Experience in residential construction, ideally complemented by practice in conversion, renovation, and energy renewal projects

• Solid knowledge of Swiss building regulations and SIA standards as well as very good German skills for technical project coordination
