About the job
Join our tipee team!
Located in the heart of Lausanne, we are an SME with about fifty passionate collaborators. We develop tipee, a time management application and HR portal that has been simplifying our clients' lives for over 10 years.
Operating in a participative and agile mode, our company is organised in circles where everyone is autonomous, has a say, and opportunities for growth within the company. And this, with a positive impact for our clients, colleagues, community, and the environment.
To strengthen our organisation, we are looking for a People & Culture Manager. This managerial position places you at the heart of the human aspect at tipee: you ensure that everyone is supported and accompanied daily, you uphold equity and consistency in our HR practices, and you actively contribute to our corporate culture and employer brand.
This role combines two functions: primarily that of People & Culture Manager, and secondarily that of facilitator within our circles.
Your daily role
You are part of the management and work closely with all circles and coordinators.
You are attuned to the needs of colleagues and coordinators, and you are the reference person for all human-related matters within tipee.
You support the circles in their recruitments : you do not recruit on their behalf, you equip them to do it themselves, and you assist them in optimising each process.
You design and implement a formalised onboarding and offboarding process, so that every new arrival is well welcomed and every departure well supported, regardless of the circle.
You support the professional development of collaborators: annual reviews in pairs when necessary, discussions with the people concerned, and ongoing reflection on career paths and internal mobility.
In collaboration with managers, you handle difficult situations (tension resolution, reprimands, conflicts, etc.), with the discretion and listening these moments require.
You contribute to diversity, equity, inclusion, and belonging (DEIB) within tipee, ensuring our practices are inclusive at every stage of the employee journey.
You clarify and uphold our best practices : drafting guides, agreements, and charters in partnership with management, and contributing to reflections on our corporate culture during management meetings.
You take on the role of facilitator : leading rituals and stimulating collective intelligence within our circles.
You participate in the organisation and facilitation of our annual offsite days.
You ensure that our circles and roles keep pace with the evolution of our teams.
You represent tipee externally, at conferences or HR fairs, sharing our vision of the human aspect at work.
You promote knowledge sharing internally and continuous improvement of our practices, notably through monitoring our eNPS questionnaire.
What we are looking for
Proven experience in a highly human-centred role — People & Culture, coaching, facilitation, Scrum Master, or similar function.
A coaching stance: you prefer to equip and empower teams rather than do things for them.
Genuine listening skills, empathy, and discretion, especially in sensitive situations.
A spirit of initiative and a desire to evolve our practices.
Comfort with product culture, agility, and facilitation (leading rituals, collective intelligence, tension management).
A taste for representing a company externally and creating partnerships.
A good understanding of working in circles and roles, or a willingness to fully invest in it.
Good HR knowledge is a plus but not a requirement.
You do not need a traditional HR background to succeed in this role: it is not a personnel administration position. What matters most is your ability to support people, facilitate, build trust, and be a source of support.
Working at tipee
Flexibility : flexible hours, hybrid work (up to 50% remote), adaptable workload to your personal life changes.
Premises in Lausanne : 15 minutes on foot from the station, or 7 by bike or scooter.
Training : an individual budget for conferences or training on topics that interest you.
Participative culture : mutual aid, dialogue, trust, taking responsibility.
Commitments : B Corp and STI certified, committed to societal and environmental aspects.
Mobility : up to CHF 300 per year for your sustainable transport costs (CFF subscription).
Conditions : attractive occupational pension benefits with a sustainable fund, parental leave advantages, at least 5 weeks of holiday, and more.
Company life : regular events and convivial moments throughout the year.
