You have technical skills and want to work on demanding power cable systems up to 500 kV? In this role, you combine measurement and testing tasks with assembly, test bench activities, and preparation of cable systems for various applications.
Responsibilities:
Proper preparation of high-voltage and power cables
Execution and documentation of electrical measurements and tests
Performing direct current and sheath tests
Assembly of pulling loops and completion of cables for shipping
Inspection of stress cones, joint bodies, and other silicone parts
Preparation and execution of water tightness tests
Crane operations with ground control for loads up to 60 t
Modification, preparation, and setup of various test adapters
General activities in the test bench and production environment
Qualifications:
Technical vocational training
Several years of experience in production, ideally in the energy industry
Precise, reliable, and quality-conscious working style
Crane operator certificate is an advantage
Willingness to work two shifts
Flexibility and enjoyment of varied technical tasks
Openness to working in a multicultural environment
Very good German language skills, spoken and written
