Not just managing technology, but actively shaping architecture: We are looking for an experienced individual with technical foresight, strong engineering understanding, and enthusiasm for complex system landscapes. Ideal for architects who want to design demanding solutions, lead technical teams, and sustainably develop modern IT platforms.
Responsibilities:
Translating professional and technical requirements into robust solution architectures
Developing scalable platform and integration concepts for complex system environments
Creating architecture models, technical concepts, and decision bases
Responsibility for the technical solution architecture from conception to productive implementation
Leading technical streams within interdisciplinary projects
Coordinating specialists from the areas of network, cyber security, infrastructure, cloud, and operations
Evaluating new technologies regarding benefits, integrability, security, and long-term economic viability
Developing and maintaining architecture standards, design patterns, and technical guidelines
Modernising existing infrastructures through automation, standardisation, and platformisation
Supporting transformation projects with a focus on stability, scalability, and security
Technical support for demanding incidents and root cause analyses
Conducting architecture reviews and technical assessments
Building best practices and knowledge platforms for engineering and operations teams
Coaching technical professionals and promoting autonomous engineering
Presenting complex solution approaches to technical stakeholders and management
Qualifications:
Several years of professional experience in solution architecture, system architecture, infrastructure engineering, or comparable roles
Deep understanding of modern IT infrastructures and distributed system landscapes
Experience with the architecture of business-critical platforms and highly available systems
Solid knowledge of cloud technologies, networks, security, and modern infrastructure concepts
Understanding of the different requirements and security models of IT and OT environments
Experience with architecture governance, technical standards, and strategic technology planning
Practice in agile development and project organisations
Experience with Scrum, SAFe, DevOps, or similar modern methodologies
Knowledge of automation, infrastructure as code, and container-based platforms is an advantage
Analytical mindset and ability to quickly grasp complex technical dependencies
Confident appearance towards engineering, management, and project leaders
Strong ability to transfer knowledge and develop technical teams professionally
University degree in computer science, system engineering, or a comparable field
