Construction Foreman (M/F)

Desired profile:

• Federal VET diploma in construction or equivalent training
• Federal foreman construction certificate required
• Proven experience in managing and organising construction sites in Switzerland
• Strong technical knowledge in building and/or civil engineering
• Excellent planning, anticipation and organisational skills
• Recognised leadership and ability to supervise, unite and motivate teams
• Strong sense of responsibility and commitment to safety
• Rigorous, precise and solution-oriented personality
• Ability to make decisions and manage unforeseen events on site
• Ease in communication with teams, clients and various site partners
• Category B driving licence essential

• Ensure the preparation, organisation and coordination of construction, renovation or civil engineering sites
• Analyse plans and technical files to effectively plan the work
• Assess personnel, material, machinery and equipment needs necessary for the proper execution of the sites
• Organise site layout, implement safety measures and ensure compliance with current regulations
• Plan and coordinate the activities of field teams and various stakeholders
• Guarantee site supply as well as proper use and maintenance of equipment
• Monitor work progress and ensure respect of deadlines, budgets and quality requirements
• Identify technical or organisational issues and implement appropriate solutions
• Supervise, motivate and support teams and apprentices on site
• Ensure effective communication between the various project stakeholders and write necessary follow-up reports
