Role:

On behalf of a client, we are looking for a qualified professional for project management, architectural design, and execution planning of demanding building projects in an established Swiss architectural environment. You will take on diverse tasks in design development, project planning, working and detailed planning, and accompany construction projects from the initial concept idea to the structural implementation. The focus is on constructive planning, 3D modelling with Archicad, technical project coordination, as well as collaboration with clients, specialist planners, and contractors. The position offers the opportunity to take independent project responsibility and to specifically further develop professional skills in execution planning and building construction.

Responsibilities:

• Independent handling and management of architectural projects through the relevant SIA phases from design development to realisation

• Development and elaboration of architectural concepts and designs for demanding new build, conversion, and renovation projects

• Responsibility for project planning, working planning, and execution planning considering design, technical, and economic requirements

• Creation and processing of 3D building models, construction project, execution, and detailed plans with Archicad

• Development of constructive detail solutions as well as coordination of building construction, materialisation, and technical interfaces

• Coordination and integration of specialist planning from structural engineering, building services, and other technical disciplines

• Preparation and coordination of building permit and approval documents considering applicable cantonal and municipal building regulations

• Coordination with clients, authorities, specialist planners, and contractors as well as participation in project and planning meetings

• Review and quality assurance of working, detailed, and contractor plans regarding feasibility, compliance with standards, and architectural quality

• Participation in cost estimates, scheduling, and project controlling as well as in the technical preparation of tenders

• Technical support during construction including site inspections, execution clarifications, and plan adjustments

• Coordination with site management to ensure a plan-compliant, economical, and high-quality realisation

Qualifications:

• Completed architecture studies ETH/FH, training as a technician HF construction planning or comparable recognised qualification in building construction

• Professional experience in architectural project planning and execution planning or solid constructive knowledge with interest in professional deepening

• Very good knowledge of Archicad, especially in 3D modelling as well as the creation of working and detailed plans

• Sound understanding of building construction, materialisation, and technical execution details

• Knowledge of Swiss SIA standards, building regulations, and planning processes as well as experience with building permit procedures

• Experience in coordinating specialist planners and contractors as well as in the technical support of construction projects

• German language skills at native level or at least C2 in spoken and written form for project documents, technical documentation, and coordination with clients
