- Provisioning, operation, and maintenance of all IT components (excluding end devices)
- Further development, optimisation, and automation of the existing system landscape
- Collaboration in agile infrastructure teams as well as in special and taskforce projects
- Creation and maintenance of documentation (processes, configurations, policies)
- Promoting collaboration and communication between internal IT teams and other stakeholders
- Several years of experience in operating complex IT infrastructures as well as a deep understanding of system and network contexts
- Sound knowledge in network and system security, including protocols such as OSPF and BGP
- Very good knowledge of Windows and Linux systems, Azure, MS Entra, Exchange, MDM solutions, scripting (PowerShell), virtualisation, and operating your own Certificate Authority (CA)
- Experience in building and operating data centre networks, software distribution, and ideally DWDM solutions
- High personal responsibility, analytical thinking, and structured working method
- Team-oriented personality with strong communication skills and willingness to take responsibility
- Fluent German skills (C2) as well as very good English skills (B2)
- Driving licence category B
- Active participation in shaping a modern IT infrastructure with the latest technologies

Responsibilities
- Ensuring the stable operation and high availability of the IT infrastructure- Provisioning, operation, and maintenance of all IT components (excluding end devices)
- Further development, optimisation, and automation of the existing system landscape
- Collaboration in agile infrastructure teams as well as in special and taskforce projects
- Creation and maintenance of documentation (processes, configurations, policies)
- Promoting collaboration and communication between internal IT teams and other stakeholders
Profile
- Completed IT training as an IT specialist EFZ system technology or computer science degree (Bachelor, FH/HF)- Several years of experience in operating complex IT infrastructures as well as a deep understanding of system and network contexts
- Sound knowledge in network and system security, including protocols such as OSPF and BGP
- Very good knowledge of Windows and Linux systems, Azure, MS Entra, Exchange, MDM solutions, scripting (PowerShell), virtualisation, and operating your own Certificate Authority (CA)
- Experience in building and operating data centre networks, software distribution, and ideally DWDM solutions
