Mandated for a Permanent position by one of our clients, based in Geneva, we are looking for a:

Manage development projects for mechanical, automatic movements, with or without complications independently.

Job Description
- Development and construction of watch movements with complications
- Research of technical solutions meeting functional, aesthetic and industrial constraints
- Creation of 3D designs and technical drawings
- Participation in prototyping, fine-tuning and technical follow-up of projects
- Validation of technical solutions through calculations and simulations
- Research of innovative, bold and creative watch concepts
Profile Sought
- Engineering training in microtechnology or mechanics (ETH / University of Applied Sciences or equivalent)
- Minimum 5 to 10 years of experience in watch construction
- Proven experience in the development of complicated movements
- Proficiency in CAD software, ideally Inventor
- Knowledge of finite element simulation
- Ability to develop innovative technical solutions considering manufacturing, assembly and reliability constraints
- Technical creativity, ability to work in a team, autonomy and analytical mindset
- Rigour and ability to manage one’s schedule independently
