Estimator / Project Manager in Steel Construction M/F/D

You have an eye for detail, a passion for technology, and want to manage projects from A to Z? We are looking for our client, a well-known company in the field of steel construction in French-speaking Switzerland, an Estimator / Project Manager at 100% permanent position.

Here, you do not just estimate costs: you are the true conductor of your projects, from the first sketch to the handover of the work!

Your playground:

• Estimating & Calculations: You analyse tender documents, carry out measurements, and prepare quotes as well as detailed technical-commercial offers.

• Design & Studies: You participate in the search for optimal economic and technical variants in collaboration with the technical office.

• Project Management: You plan the manufacturing and assembly stages, coordinate schedules, and ensure financial monitoring and profitability of the sites.

• Partner Relations: You are the main contact for clients, architects, engineers, suppliers, and installation teams on site.

• Monitoring and Delivery: You ensure strict compliance with deadlines, Swiss safety standards, and quality requirements up to final invoicing.

Your profile:

• Education: You hold a Federal VET Diploma (CFC) as a steel constructor, metal draftsman-constructor, ideally complemented by a foreman’s certificate, a technician diploma ES, or an engineering degree.

• Experience: You have proven experience in Switzerland in price calculation and site management in steel construction / façades.

• Technical Skills: You master quotation/calculation software, common IT tools, and reading complex technical plans (knowledge of SIA standards is essential).

• Personality: You have excellent negotiation skills, great organisational rigour, and natural interpersonal ease to unite stakeholders.

• Language & Mobility: Excellent command of spoken and written French (German is an asset). A valid driving licence is essential.
