Role:
As an automation specialist, you are responsible for the development of modern control solutions and the modernisation of existing machines. You design the interfaces between hardware and software and ensure seamless integration of innovative technologies – both in development projects and on-site with customers.
Responsibilities:
Designing and implementing advanced automation solutions
Managing project execution for the modernisation and optimisation of machines
Programming PLC systems according to IEC 61131-3 standards
Developing intuitive web-based user interfaces for remote control and system monitoring
Integrating and configuring electrical peripheral devices into existing systems
Independent commissioning of machines and systems in development and customer projects
Qualifications:
Completed university of applied sciences or technical college education in electrical engineering or a related field
Solid experience in PLC programming according to IEC 61131-3
Knowledge of programming languages such as C# or Python
Willingness for occasional worldwide business travel
Very good German skills and good English skills, both spoken and written
