Specialist Training and Innovation Collaborator (80-100%)

Swiss fruits are at the heart of our work, whether fresh or processed. We are a private interprofessional organisation, active at the national level and officially recognised. Together with our 10,500 members from production and processing, we ensure that you can enjoy delicious seasonal and sustainable Swiss fruit and fruit products. We are committed in the areas of market, policy, marketing, communication, training, innovation, and we promote the image of Swiss fruits.

For our innovation/development team, we are looking for an independent, solution-oriented person eager to take on responsibilities for an immediate or agreed start date.

Your role

• You are responsible for various specialised committees and innovation projects in the fields of research, consulting, and production, which help shape the future of Swiss fruit production.
• You are in charge of initial and continuing training for professionals in the arboriculture sector.
• You support and coordinate, on behalf of the association, the Suisse Garantie brand, the sectoral solution for Fruit Sustainability, and the SwissGAP standard.
• You represent the Swiss Fruit Union within external bodies and establish strong networks.
• You take responsibility for the organisation and administration of your area of activity.

Your profile

• A training in agronomy, for example a BSc in agronomy, a diploma as an agricultural technician ES, or an equivalent qualification with professional experience
• An interest in agricultural topics, training, innovation, and Swiss fruits
• A proactive, structured, reliable, and rigorous approach to your work
• A service-oriented mindset and enjoyment of teamwork and exchange
• A sense of organisation and initiative
• Native German or French speaker with very good knowledge of the other language
