Network Security Engineer (m/f/d)
Our partner offers WLAN and Network Access Control solutions and software development. The strengths of our ROCKEN partner are the evaluation, planning, implementation as well as the operation and support of WLAN and Network Access Control solutions.
Role:
Secure IT infrastructures are the foundation of modern digital business models. We are looking for a network security specialist who develops, protects, and further develops complex security architectures with current technologies.
Responsibilities:
Planning, implementation and further development of modern network security solutions
Maintenance and optimisation of firewall, VPN and security infrastructures
Configuration and administration of solutions such as Fortinet, FortiGate and comparable security platforms
Analysis and improvement of existing security architectures
Implementation of zero-trust concepts and modern network security strategies
Monitoring of security events as well as conducting analyses and troubleshooting
Participation in security projects around cloud, network segmentation and access controls
Development of automated processes to improve security operations
Creation of technical concepts, documentation and security standards
Qualifications:
Several years of experience in network and IT security
Sound knowledge of firewall technologies and security solutions such as Fortinet
Experience with routing, switching, VPN, VLAN and network architectures
Knowledge of modern security concepts such as zero trust, NAC or secure access
Analytical and structured working style
Enthusiasm for cyber security, automation and modern infrastructure technologies
