Designer - Toolmaking 80-100% (m/f/d)
Our client is an internationally active Swiss industrial company focused on the development and manufacture of high-quality technical components for demanding applications. With strong development expertise, modern manufacturing technologies, and a strong international presence, the company supplies customers from various industrial sectors. Quality, innovation, and reliability are at the core.
Responsibilities:
- Development and design of tools for the production of precision components, taking into account customer requirements and technical specifications.
- Creation of 3D models and technical drawings using Creo.
- Performing calculations and simulations to verify design integrity and functionality.
- Selection of suitable materials and components for tool manufacturing.
- Collaboration with other departments such as manufacturing and quality assurance to ensure a smooth production process.
- Continuous optimisation of existing tools regarding performance and cost-effectiveness.
- Documentation of design processes and decisions according to company standards.
- Active participation in internal training and further education measures to expand expertise and skills.
Qualifications:
- Completed technical EFZ basic training as a designer.
- Further education as a technician HF or comparable qualification.
- Solid knowledge in using Creo and Windchill.
- Experience in tool design, ideally in the field of precision manufacturing.
- Good knowledge of material selection and application.
- Ability to work independently as well as in a team.
- Analytical thinking and problem-solving skills.
- Very good German and good English skills
