Senior Client Representative (m/f/d)
Salary - CHF140,000 - 145,000Role:
On behalf of our client, we are seeking an experienced individual for the Senior Client Representation and Construction Management of a significant Swiss real estate portfolio. You represent the owners' interests in new build, conversion, renovation and renewal projects and manage external client representatives as well as interdisciplinary planning and project teams. In addition to responsibility for costs, quality, deadlines and project risks, you take on a central role in investment controlling and management reporting. As the technical construction interface, you also advise the Asset Management on technical, economic and lifecycle-related issues.
Responsibilities:
Representation of owner and client interests in new build, conversion, renovation and renewal projects of a professionally managed real estate portfolio
Management and leadership of external client representatives, general planners, specialist planners and project teams throughout the relevant project phases
Overall responsibility for compliance with project objectives regarding costs, deadlines, quality and risks
Review and assessment of project budgets, cost estimates, change orders, awards and final accounts
Early identification of cost, schedule and project risks as well as definition and implementation of appropriate control measures
Preparation of well-founded decision bases, investment proposals and management reports for internal decision-making bodies
Participation in investment and budget planning as well as ongoing monitoring of project budgets, forecasts and cash flows
Ensuring professional project controlling with transparent reporting on cost development, deadlines, risks and project status
Advising Asset Management on technical, economic and marketing-relevant issues
Assessment of investment measures considering lifecycle costs, value preservation, utilisation and economic efficiency
Coordination and representation of interests towards planners, contractors, authorities and other stakeholders
Accompanying projects from strategic planning to acceptance, handover and project accounting
Qualifications:
Degree in Architecture or Civil Engineering ETH/FH, certified technician HF or comparable technical construction qualification
Several years of solid experience in construction management and client representation, ideally on the owner or investor side
Comprehensive knowledge in project, cost, schedule and risk management for demanding real estate projects
Experience with investment planning, project controlling, forecasting and management reporting
Sound understanding of technical and economic contexts in real estate and asset management
Very good knowledge of Swiss construction processes and relevant SIA standards
Very good German skills; French skills are an advantage
