Role:
In this role, as an IT Systems Operations Engineer, you ensure stable, secure, and group-compliant operation of the central system and infrastructure platforms. You are responsible for implementing, adhering to, and further developing guidelines, standards, and architectural principles in the system environment. Additionally, you handle 1st and 2nd level support requests, analyse faults, resolve issues, and initiate escalations if necessary. With a structured working method, consistent standard implementation, and thorough documentation, you ensure sustainably high service quality. You apply your several years of experience in the infrastructure environment, your knowledge of Windows server and client systems, and ideally also Linux, and convince through clear communication, independence, and customer-oriented behaviour.
Responsibilities:
- You ensure the stable, secure, and group-compliant operation of the system and infrastructure platforms.
- In this role, you consistently implement group guidelines, standards, and architectural principles in the system environment and further develop them.
- You handle 1st and 2nd level support requests including analysis, troubleshooting, and escalation.
- As an IT Systems Operations Engineer, you work in a structured manner and ensure consistent implementation of standards.
- You ensure sustainable performance in your role through clean and comprehensible documentation.
Qualifications:
- Completed training or equivalent qualification in computer science or systems engineering
- Several years of professional experience in a comparable role in the infrastructure environment
- Confident handling of Windows server and Windows client systems
- Additional knowledge of Linux systems is an advantage
- Strong communication skills, independent working style, and analytical thinking
- Customer-oriented, professional personality with fluent German skills and ideally good English skills
