THE YVERDON PAEDIATRICS DEPARTMENT IS LOOKING FOR
MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES
You actively contribute to the development of clinical expertise in paediatrics and to the continuous improvement of quality, safety and care coordination.
You perform an advanced clinical role combining direct practice with patients and clinical leadership.
Your main responsibilities:
- Ensure care for complex paediatric situations
- Guarantee the quality and continuity of care throughout the patient pathway: paediatric emergencies, inpatient unit, child psychiatry, neonatology and collaboration with the maternity department
- Integrate evidence-based data and specialised recommendations into daily practices
- Support the development of the team’s skills (coaching, training, support)
- Develop, implement and evaluate clinical projects linked to institutional priorities
- Participate in the development and optimisation of clinical pathways
- Contribute to monitoring quality indicators and clinical governance
- Collaborate closely with the medical team, interprofessional partners and hospital paediatric networks
- Work in tandem with the local manager in a dynamic of collaboration and continuous improvement
SKILLS – REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS
- Nursing diploma recognised by the Swiss Red Cross
- Experience in paediatrics preferred
- Specialised training in paediatrics (CAS or equivalent training), an asset
- Holder of a Master’s degree in Nursing Sciences or equivalent clinical training, or willingness to train
- Proven skills in clinical leadership and change management
- Strong interest in quality, patient safety and continuous improvement
- Analytical skills, autonomy, initiative and sense of responsibility
- Excellent interpersonal, communication and interprofessional skills
- Adaptability, flexibility and ability to manage complex situations
- Proficiency in common computer tools
