Area of activity

In the business centre "Software Engineering & IT" in Aarau, we develop customised software applications as well as modern AI, IoT and cloud solutions. As a Business Solution Architect – AI, Cloud & UX (University/University of Applied Sciences), you take on a central role at the interface of business, user needs, technology and AI-supported software development.

Together with our customers, you analyse business processes and the resulting customer benefits, define use cases and derive the corresponding requirements. You develop target images, solution architectures and implementation strategies and accompany projects from analysis through conception to successful realisation.

In doing so, you use modern methods of software development, user experience and generative AI in a targeted manner. In close collaboration with software engineers, development partners and customers, you contribute to creating sustainable digital solutions with high added value.

Requirements

You have a very good university degree (University of Applied Sciences, ETH or University) in computer science, business informatics or a comparable field. As an analytically thinking and creative personality, you are enthusiastic about new challenges, innovative technologies and exchanging ideas with people.
You work in a structured, solution-oriented and customer-focused manner. You understand how to capture, structure and translate technical requirements into viable technical and user-centred solutions.

Furthermore, you possess the following skills:

• Solid practical experience in the systematic analysis of requirements, business processes, application scenarios and user needs
• Strong competence in the holistic evaluation of data structures and flows, system landscapes as well as potentials for digitising processes and business models
• Experience in developing and defining use cases and deriving requirements for modern distributed systems
• Experience in designing and shaping modern, distributed software applications in an agile environment – including architecture, planning and execution of software projects
• Experience in translating technical requirements into user-centred digital solutions as well as supporting project teams through professional UX design, partly using AI tools
• Experience in using LLMs and generative AI (Agentic Engineering) for prototype development as well as creating modern solution architectures, target images and roadmaps
• Routine in planning and moderating workshops as well as presenting complex content to customers and interdisciplinary teams
• Enjoyment in collaborating with customers and development partners as well as a strong curiosity for new technologies and willingness to learn
• Clear, structured and audience-appropriate communication with the ability to convey complex technical content understandably
• High quality standards, structured and sustainable working methods as well as a proactive, solution-oriented mindset
• Very good German and English skills, both spoken and written
