Operations Technician HVAC (m/f/d)
Salary - CHF85,000 - 90,000Role:
On behalf of a client, we are looking for an Operations Technician HVAC / Building Technology for the reliable technical operation of a sophisticated infrastructure in healthcare. You ensure the availability of building technology systems and take on maintenance, repairs and troubleshooting in the areas of ventilation, air conditioning, refrigeration and sanitation. Operational safety and the compliant assurance of drinking water hygiene are of particular importance. The role also includes coordinating external service providers and a regulated on-call service for building technology.
Responsibilities:
Processing internal repair, service and fault orders via the technical ticket system
Carrying out inspection, maintenance and repair work on HVAC systems
Supervising systems in the areas of ventilation, air conditioning, refrigeration and sanitation
Systematic fault diagnosis and troubleshooting on building technology systems and components
Conducting regular functional, operational and safety checks in accordance with applicable regulations
Monitoring and ensuring drinking water quality and hygiene within the properties
Organising, coordinating and controlling external service, maintenance and installation companies
Documenting completed work and maintaining maintenance and system data
Supporting and deputising in the area of heating technology and technical building maintenance
Performing minor repairs to furniture and building fabric
Contributing to the continuous optimisation of system availability, operational safety and energy efficiency
Participation in the 7/24 on-call service for building technology trades for about six weeks per calendar year
Qualifications:
Completed technical apprenticeship, for example as sanitary installer EFZ, ventilation system builder EFZ, heating installer EFZ or building maintenance specialist EFZ
Several years of professional experience in building technology, building maintenance or technical upkeep
Experience with technical systems in hospital, laboratory, industrial or similarly critical operational environments is an advantage
Broad technical understanding in the areas of HVAC and building maintenance
Knowledge of relevant regulations on drinking water hygiene, occupational safety and system operation is an advantage
Willingness to participate in the 7/24 on-call service
Good German language skills, spoken and written
