Role:
On behalf of the client, we are looking for an experienced Overall Project Manager Building Technology / HVAC for the integral management of demanding building technology projects. You will be responsible for interdisciplinary project teams and accompany projects from the study and conception through planning and realisation to handover to the client. In addition to overall project management, you will take responsibility for an HVAC sub-trade if required and ensure the technical as well as spatial coordination of all involved disciplines. As the central interface to the client, you combine technical expertise, project management, and leadership responsibility.
Responsibilities:
Assuming overall project management of building technology for demanding new construction, conversion, and renovation projects
Technical and organisational leadership of interdisciplinary project teams
Managing projects from the feasibility study to realisation and handover
Leading and coordinating specialist planners and junior project managers
Independent project management of an HVAC sub-area within selected projects
Ensuring technical and spatial coordination between HVAC, electrical, building automation, and other specialist disciplines
Responsibility for costs, deadlines, quality, and planning progress
Coordinating internal interfaces and liaising with architecture, specialist planning, and executing companies
Direct advising of the client and principal on technical and project strategic issues
Leading and moderating project, planning, and coordination meetings
Ensuring complete submission, revision, and project documentation
Accompanying commissioning, acceptance, and project handovers
Qualifications:
Degree as Dipl. Engineer FH/HTL Building Technology HVAC, Dipl. Technician HF/TS or comparable technical qualification
At least 5 years of professional experience in building technology planning and project management
Experience in overall project management and leading interdisciplinary HVAC project teams
Sound knowledge in technical coordination, project management, and integral building technology planning
Good knowledge of relevant SIA-/SWKI standards and Swiss planning and construction practice
Confident handling of MS Office as well as CAD/planning tools
Very good German language skills, spoken and written
