Role:
On behalf of the client, we are looking for an experienced professional as Project Manager / Service Technician Refrigeration for a versatile role between technical project management and practical service deployment. You will manage refrigeration systems, heat pumps, climate cabinets, and fan coils from planning and technical design to commissioning and simultaneously undertake regular service and fault repair assignments. Another focus lies on technical order processing, material procurement, as well as schedule and cost control. The position is particularly suitable for experienced refrigeration specialists who want to combine their practical service experience with increasing project responsibility.
Responsibilities:
Independent project management of refrigeration systems from planning and order clarification to commissioning and handover
Responsibility for quality-, schedule-, and cost-compliant order processing including ongoing project monitoring
Technical review and processing of system documentation, specifications, schematics, and design documents
Technical coordination and procurement of customer-specific components and products for refrigeration and air conditioning systems
Support of the technical field service in technical and commercial matters as well as in developing suitable solutions
Execution of service, repair, and maintenance work on refrigeration machines, heat pumps, climate cabinets, and fan coils
Systematic fault diagnosis and troubleshooting on refrigeration and thermal systems
Execution and accompaniment of commissioning, functional checks, and system optimisations
Monitoring of delivery dates and material availability as well as coordination with internal logistics, customers, and suppliers
Coordination of interfaces between project management, service, field service, logistics, and customers
Creation and maintenance of the required service, project, and system documentation
Qualifications:
Completed basic training as Refrigeration System Installer EFZ or comparable refrigeration technical training
Several years of professional experience as Service Technician Refrigeration/Heating with good knowledge in diagnosis, repair, and commissioning
Initial experience in technical project or order processing and interest in further project responsibility
Sound knowledge of refrigeration systems, heat pumps, climate cabinets, and refrigeration technical components
Knowledge of relevant Swiss regulations and safety requirements in refrigeration technology
Very good German language skills; French or English skills are an advantage
