Data is only valuable when reliable information emerges from complex sources. We are looking for a technically strong individual who develops data warehouse solutions, ensures data quality, and actively advances modern analytics landscapes.
Responsibilities:
Development and optimisation of scalable data warehouse solutions
Design and implementation of robust data models for complex data landscapes
Development of efficient ETL and ELT processes with a focus on automated data processing
Further development of a modern analytics and reporting platform
Creation and optimisation of reports, dashboards, and self-service analytics solutions
Ensuring high data quality across all integration processes
Analysis of data deviations and resolution of complex error patterns in production environments
Development of automated tests for data pipelines and business logic
Optimisation of SQL queries and database-supported processing steps
Further development of data warehouse architectures and integration concepts
Collaboration with software engineers, data specialists, and business units
Planning and prioritisation of technical tasks in an agile development environment
Active participation in shaping architecture, technology, and engineering standards
Qualifications:
Degree or comparable education in computer science, data engineering, or business informatics
Several years of experience in developing ETL or ELT pipelines
Very good knowledge of SQL and practical experience with Oracle
Experience in data warehousing and data modelling
Knowledge of data vault modelling is an advantage
Understanding of data management, data quality, and modern DWH architectures
Interest in self-service BI and modern analytics concepts
Experience with CI/CD and automated testing procedures
Practical knowledge of Git, Docker, and Kubernetes is an advantage
Understanding of software integration and modern development processes
Analytical thinking and enjoyment of challenging data problems
High personal responsibility and willingness for continuous professional development
