Structural Engineer / Civil Engineering

Mandated by one of our major institutional clients for a renewable 6-month assignment, I am looking for a structural engineer.

Within a unique and highly technological environment, you will work on complex infrastructures and large-scale installations, from the preliminary design phase to the execution phase.

? Your Main Responsibilities

• Advanced design and calculations: Ensure the complete sizing of complex reinforced concrete structures and metal frameworks (complex frameworks, supports for technological installations).

• Expertise and assessment of existing structures: Evaluate the load-bearing capacity of current structures against new load constraints and conduct non-destructive diagnostics on site (inspection, detection of reinforcements and integrated networks).

• Regulatory engineering: Draft reference calculation notes in strict compliance with European and Swiss standards (Eurocodes and SIA standards).

• Multidisciplinary coordination: Actively collaborate in a global engineering context with physicists, project managers and experts from other technical disciplines (Process, HVAC, Electricity, Cryogenics...).

• Infrastructure: Provide your expertise on roadworks, various networks (VRD) and external site developments.

? Your Technical Profile

• Simulation tools: Operational mastery of structural calculation software such as Robot Structural Analysis or SCIA Engineer (mastery of the CUBUS suite tools is a strong advantage).

• CAD / BIM tools: Ability to navigate, visualise and utilise digital models and complex plans via Revit, AutoCAD and IFC file viewers.

• Field equipment: Experience or ease with the use of structural radars (such as GSSI Structure Scan Mini XT or equivalent).
