Senior Kubernetes Engineer DevOps (m/f/d)

Role:
A technology company is looking for an experienced DevOps Engineer to build and further develop modern platforms. The focus is on Kubernetes, container technologies and the automation of infrastructure and development processes.
In this role, you will develop CI/CD pipelines, optimise existing platforms and contribute to technical architecture decisions. You will also evaluate new technologies and contribute to the standardisation and continuous improvement of the system landscape.
Responsibilities:
Building, operating and further developing modern platforms with Kubernetes and container technologies
Developing and optimising automation solutions and CI/CD pipelines
Automating deployment, platform and development processes
Deployment and support of infrastructure and virtualisation solutions
Contributing to the definition of technical standards, architectures and best practices
Evaluating and introducing new technologies and tools in the area of DevOps and automation
Qualifications:
Degree in computer science, training as an IT specialist EFZ or comparable practical experience
Good knowledge of Kubernetes, container technologies and Linux
Experience with CI/CD and DevOps platforms such as GitLab or Azure DevOps
Knowledge of automation and configuration management, for example with Ansible
Experience with VMware, Nutanix or Proxmox is an advantage
Independent, proactive and solution-oriented working style as well as good German skills; English at B2 level is an advantage
