Specialist Coordination Office Parent Education (a)

In this newly created role, you will take on a central role in the further development of parent education in the canton of Lucerne. You will establish the new coordination office and help shape offers that support families in everyday life.
Your tasks
- You will independently establish the new Parent Education Coordination Office at the Department of Public School Education (DVS) and subsequently manage it operationally.
- As a central hub, you coordinate collaboration between the canton, municipalities, and private providers.
- You develop low-threshold offers to specifically reach vulnerable families and facilitate their access to parent education.
- You advise school management and municipalities on the implementation of subsidised parenting courses.
- Through targeted public relations and awareness-raising measures, you make parent education visible in the canton of Lucerne.
Your profile
- With a university degree (Uni/FH/PH) in social work, pedagogy, or a comparable field, you bring the appropriate professional foundation.
- Additionally, you have several years of professional experience in family support or education.
- You are a communication talent and enjoy building networks and winning various stakeholders for a common goal.
- You work in a structured and conceptual manner and always keep an overview even in a dynamic development phase.
- You are interested in social and educational policy issues and want to sustainably develop preventive offers for families.
